This two-day seminar is designed to deepen understanding of intermediate-level governmental accounting and financial reporting principles. The program aims to strengthen participants' skills in preparing GAAP-based financial statements using the GASB 34 Model. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own government financial statements or a sample set to foster discussion and explore specific questions related to their areas.

The workshop is intended for state and local government fiscal officers and staff, as well as government auditors and independent public accountants with prior experience or training in the preparation, use, and auditing of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Schedule
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. on both days. Breakfast and lunch are provided. The program kicks off at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 3:45 p.m. A detailed agenda will be shared soon.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made by Wednesday, June 11, 2025. There are no refunds after this date.

Accreditation
This seminar will provide 12 CPE hours in Category AA and is pending approval through the Ohio Treasurer of State’s Center for Public Investment Management (CPIM).
