The Ohio GFOA Award for Excellence recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the public finance profession and a strong commitment to their colleagues, organization, and community. This award honors those who have made a meaningful and lasting impact through their work, exemplify the core values of Ohio GFOA, and serve as a role model for integrity, leadership, and excellence in public finance.
Eligibility: Open to governmental members, non-governmental members, other contributors, and in memoriam nominees.
Deadline: All submissions must be received by Monday, July 20, 2026.

Winners will be officially recognized at a luncheon on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in Cleveland, during Ohio GFOA’s 39th Annual Conference and Membership Meeting.
