This two-day seminar focuses on intermediate governmental accounting and financial reporting concepts, with an emphasis on preparing GAAP-based financial statements under the GASB 34 model. Participants will walk through key reporting components and common application issues, with opportunities to discuss real-world examples. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own government financial statements or a sample set to support practical discussion and address specific questions.
The workshop is designed for state and local government fiscal officers, accounting staff, auditors, and public accountants who already have foundational experience with GAAP and governmental financial reporting and are looking to strengthen their working knowledge of GASB-based statements.
